On the Wellbeing Retreat Day, I will introduce you to natural ways to incorporate Self-care easily into your busy life. Self-care is giving yourself a little bit of love and attention to your body and mind throughout the day. By implementing easy Self-care techniques into your day, you can nurture yourself before anxiety or pain escalates or reach burnout.
I will discuss how to implement healthy habits into your daily life by using Aromatherapy oils, Hand Reflexology and Mindfulness. I will share my knowledge gained over the past 24 years that allows me to stay healthy. I don’t use any medications. I can’t remember the last time I had time off work due to being ill. I will share with you the Aromatherapy oils to use to ward off colds, help with stress and muscle pain. I will also share with you how to use Hand Reflexology and Mindfulness to help ease anxiety and stress. You will leave feeling inspired and motivated to start caring for your own health in a natural way.
When is the Wellbeing Retreat Day?
The Wellbeing Self-care Sunday is on Sunday1st March (10 am – 4 pm). The Wellbeing Retreat is a day for ‘Me-Time’; time for self-care and restoration.
This class is aimed at beginners so no need to have any previous experience in Aromatherapy oils, Reflexology or Mindfulness Meditation.
Where is the Wellbeing Class being held?
The 1-day Wellbeing class is being held in a relaxing, spacious room at the Wellbeing Lab, Restoration Yard, Dalkeith Country Park, Dalkeith. There is ample free parking at the venue. There will also be the opportunity to go for a walk around the Country Park during lunchtime. The Restoration Yard is ideally situated for road links to Edinburgh, Lothians, Scottish Borders & Glasgow. You will also have plenty of opportunities to ask me questions about your health & wellbeing during the Retreat Day.
What is the cost of the Wellbeing Retreat Day?
The cost for the Wellbeing class is £75 which includes a detailed booklet outlining the benefits of 10 Aromatherapy oils and uses, recipes for the Aromatherapy Bath Salts and the Aromatherapy Body Lotion. The fee also includes making and taking home your own personalised Self-care Goodies – Aromatherapy Bath Salts and an Aromatherapy Body Lotion.
You will also receive Coloured Hand Reflexology charts along with a Stress-Reducing Hand Reflexology routine for you to use at home/work. The audio Mindfulness Meditations will be e: mailed to you after the course so you can incorporate short Mindfulness Meditations easily into your daily life.

I attended the Wellbeing & Self-care course with Geraldine at Restoration Yard, what a treat! The day was lovely and informal but with lots of hugely beneficial information. Geraldine is so knowledgeable and fantastic at sharing this knowledge. We spent the morning learning about the healing benefits of specific oils and blending these into our own products. We then focussed on self-care techniques like face massage & hand reflexology. We also tried out some Mindful Meditation which was a first for me and something I am now determined to bring into my daily life. I left feeling calm, inspired and incredibly happy.

I was at Geraldine’s Wellbeing workshop and had the most amazing time. She has such good knowledge across all areas we covered – Aromatherapy, Hand Reflexology, Face massage and Mindfulness Meditation. While it sounds like a lot packed into a single day, it was extremely low key, informal and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the detailed written / audio material which Geraldine shared during/after the event, which helps you build on your new-found knowledge. The beautiful location (Restoration Yard in Dalkeith) also helped add to the overall experience – totally relaxing. Will definitely be booking another of Geraldine’s courses – highly recommend.
