An Aromatherapy massage involves massaging legs, back, neck and shoulders. The body massage also involves using quality Essential oils. A unique blend of Essential oils is added to the massage oil. Adding Essential oils to the massage oil will have a greater benefit in balancing your emotions and also improving your wellbeing in comparison to a Remedial Massage. During the consultation, I will discuss how you wish to benefit from the Aromatherapy treatment. I can then create a personalised blend of Essential oils to suit your needs for the massage session. (Female Clients Only)
By adhering to the Government guidelines re: COVID-19, I am currently not taking bookings for new clients.
For stress and anxiety:
A popular blend is Bergamot, Geranium and Lavender.
For back/shoulder muscle pain:
A popular blend is Lavender, Marjoram and Juniper Berry
During the Massage, the Essential oils will absorb into your skin and their healing benefits will also continue to work after the treatment. You will also get the benefit of smelling the oils during the massage. The combination of the Massage and the therapeutic qualities of the Essential oils can uplift the spirit and relieve pain.
Why choose an Aromatherapy Massage?
An aromatherapy massage is ideal if looking for a relaxing massage which will allow you to feel nurtured. The massage will be calming to your body and also to your mind. Within the 1 hour treatment, I can spend longer on areas of tension and muscle pain e.g. neck and shoulders.
Due to the massage and the Essential oils, levels of the stress hormone Cortisol drops resulting in an improvement in relaxation in the mind and body.
A one-off treatment can help you to cope with the stresses and demands of your daily life. For help with specific problems or as a preventative treatment, regular treatments are recommended.
As an experienced Clinical Aromatherapist of 21 years, I have helped a variety of clients with muscle aches and pains, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression and stress.
